E.A. Sween Company is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable IT infrastructure systems across on-prem and cloud environments. The role involves bridging networking and systems disciplines, leading impactful projects, and mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities

Architect and maintain enterprise infrastructure systems (security, compute, storage, networking, virtualization)

Administer, monitor, and optimize Windows and Linux-based systems and services

Administer, monitor, and optimize iSeries systems and services

Configure and support network devices: firewalls, switches, routers, load balancers, and VPNs

Lead infrastructure automation using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and scripting

Manage virtualization platforms and support hybrid cloud infrastructure

Implement security controls across systems and networks, including patching, hardening, MFA, and identity management

Ensure system reliability, availability, performance, and disaster recovery capabilities

Design and manage infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines for configuration and deployment

Monitor infrastructure health and respond to incidents

Collaborate with Security, DevOps, App Engineering teams to support development and operational needs

Collaborate with Senior Operations business partners to support their operational needs

Assist in leading the Infrastructure team and providing guidance to IT Support Analyst

Partner with the CIO in developing and implementing a five-year infrastructure strategic roadmap
