WHSmith North America is seeking a Business Analyst for Supply Chain Systems who will act as the bridge between business operations and technical teams. The role involves gathering and translating business requirements into system solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy across the supply chain ecosystem.

Responsibilities

Partner with business stakeholders to analyze and document requirements for supply chain system

Translate business needs into functional specifications, process flows, and system configurations to support planning and buying operations

Support the implementation, testing, and deployment of new systems and enhancements, ensuring alignment with business objectives

Conduct data validation, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-implementation reviews to ensure system accuracy and performance

Collaborate with IT, vendors, and business teams to troubleshoot issues, streamline workflows, and improve system usability

Maintain up-to-date process and system documentation to support ongoing training and change management

Required

Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field

5+ years of experience in business analysis, application support, or systems implementation within supply chain environments

In-depth supply chain knowledge in areas such as receiving, shipping, ASN, using sortation system, cycle counts, physical inventory, labor management, creating manifest, carton labels, ticket printing etc is essential for this role

Proven experience gathering and documenting business requirements for enterprise applications

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Preferred

Experience with process automation, data integration, and system optimization is a plus
