They are seeking a Plant & Automation Engineer II to provide support for automation assembly, installation, upgrades, and optimization of automation equipment on the plant floor and RDC lab, while also training staff and ensuring equipment performance.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Plant Automation team to accelerate the installation of new automation equipment
Train manufacturing technical staff on how to operate and maintain automation equipment
Work to optimize automation equipment
Observe automation equipment to detect hazards, problems, and the need for service; troubleshoots and repairs equipment where possible
Evaluates system performance and makes necessary adjustments to equipment

Qualification

FANUCABB robotics programmingIndustrial engineering knowledgeElectricalMechanical drawingsIndustrial safety regulationsVerbalMicrosoft Office proficiencyWritten communication

Required

Proficient in FANUC or ABB robotics programming
Knowledge of industrial engineering including mechanical installation, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and chilled water systems
Understanding of basic electrical and mechanical drawings
Working knowledge of industrial safety regulations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
General knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent experience
2 years manufacturing or engineering experience a plus
Able to stand for extended periods of time
Lifting fifty pounds occasionally
Twenty percent or less expected travel
