Human Resources Specialist
Responsibilities
Coordinate onboarding, background checks, drug testing, and credentialing
Assist with benefits administration (health insurance, retirement plans)
Process and manage workers’ compensation claims and case documentation
Communicate with employees, healthcare providers, and insurance carriers
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure confidentiality of HR data
Support enforcement of HR policies and handle employee inquiries
Submit reports to regulatory agencies and ensure legal compliance
Provide reception coverage and assist with executive support as needed
Promote positive employee relations and workplace culture
Qualification
Required
Experience in HR generalist or similar role required
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred
HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
