Responsibilities
Oversee financial statement preparation and month-end close
Perform detailed variance analysis and provide commentary to management
Develop and analyze metrics to measure performance across business lines and the company as a whole
Act as the lead liaison for external auditors, providing supporting schedules and documentation
Continuously assess internal controls and implement improvements as needed
Supervise, manage, and develop a team of six accounting professionals
Conduct occasional accounting research to ensure compliance with GAAP
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in accounting
Prior experience supervising staff
Strong financial accounting background
Public accounting experience required (Big 4 or mid-tier firm preferred)
