Responsibilities
Perform concrete work, rebar, masonry, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, mechanical, rigging, excavation, ditching, trenching, and general labor as required
Perform structural steel installation
Operate basic machinery such as a man-lift, scissor lift, fork-lift, etc
Align machines and equipment, using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, plumb bobs, etc
Assemble machinery and bolts, welds, rivets, or otherwise fasten them to foundation or other structures
Qualification
Required
Solid understanding of industrial construction
Perform concrete work, rebar, masonry, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, mechanical, rigging, excavation, ditching, trenching, and general labor as required
Perform structural steel installation
Operate basic machinery such as a man-lift, scissor lift, fork-lift, etc
Align machines and equipment, using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, plumb bobs, etc
Assemble machinery and bolts, welds, rivets, or otherwise fasten them to foundation or other structures
Sit, talk, hear, read, and write
Regularly walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms
Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Perform duties on-site and underground at industrial locations
Work in extreme temperature conditions and environments
Perform work at a variety of heights
Ability to accurately read a tape measure
Completion of a thorough background and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
Participation in random, post-accident and reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol testing as requested
Preferred
2+ years of relevant mechanical, construction, pipe insulation, or solar installation experience
Possesses a mechanical aptitude with prior experience in commercial/industrial mechanical fields
Proficient in setting bearings, performing alignments, setting structural steel, etc
Valid driver's license
Proficient with using basic hand tools
