Marketing Associate
Abacus Business Computer (abcPOS) is a New York City-based technology company specializing in comprehensive point-of-sale (POS) systems and integrated payment solutions. They are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Marketing Associate to develop and execute marketing strategies that strengthen market positioning and enhance customer engagement. Responsibilities
Develop, execute, and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital (SEO, SEM, email, paid social, PPC), print, and social media
Oversee social media platforms, ensuring consistency in messaging and content, and build brand awareness, loyalty, and advocacy
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and new opportunities
Work closely with sales teams to define marketing materials, go-to-market strategies, and campaigns that drive sales performance
Track, analyze, and report on marketing metrics and KPIs, attributing marketing spend to traffic, leads, and revenue
Manage marketing projects from conception to completion, making adjustments based on performance data
Create marketing collateral including emails, flyers, presentations, and website content; supervise content creation when necessary
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
2+ years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, or related roles; experience in software, retail, or hospitality is a plus
Proficient in marketing software, CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), and social media tools
Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, SEM, PPC, email marketing, and paid social campaigns
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Analytical, data-driven mindset with the ability to derive insights and recommend actionable strategies
Fluent in Mandarin (Chinese) and English
Preferred
Creativity and ability to innovate across marketing platforms
Experience managing multiple projects and cross-functional teams
Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and able to work independently
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or other content creation tools
