Responsibilities
Perform and support full cycle accounting including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, and cash management
Assist with and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports
Ensure accurate account reconciliations and proper documentation
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Assist with internal controls and accounting process improvements
Support audit preparation and work with external auditors as needed
Provide financial data and analysis to support the CFO
Assist with cost accounting and margin analysis preferred
Work within and help optimize accounting systems; NetSuite experience is a strong plus
Help move accounting from a transactional or bookkeeping focus to a more structured, scalable process
Qualification
Required
Three to five plus years of progressive accounting experience
Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close
Experience preparing financial statements and reconciliations
Proficiency with accounting software and Excel
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
Preferred
Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent hands-on experience
Cost accounting experience
NetSuite ERP experience
Experience in a small to mid-sized company environment
