Responsibilities
Comprehensive Line Stoppage Database - Centralized and validated dataset of stoppages due to material shortages, categorized by cause and frequency
Root Cause Analysis Report - Documented RCA findings with visual tools (fishbone, Pareto charts, trend graphs) and identified key drivers of material shortages
Countermeasure Action Plan - Detailed plan outlining corrective and preventive actions, responsibilities, timelines, and performance indicators
Implementation Report - Summary of executed actions, pilot results, implementation challenges, and process changes
Updated Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) - Revised or newly created SOPs addressing material flow, escalation protocols, and communication between supply chain and production
Performance Dashboard / KPI Tracker
Real-time or periodic dashboard showing key metrics (availability rate, stoppage frequency, OTD, etc.)
Final Evaluation Report - Post-implementation assessment showing quantitative and qualitative results of the improvement initiative, including ROI or cost avoidance estimates
Sustainability Plan - Defined process for maintaining improvements, assigning ownership, and integrating monitoring into daily management routines
Qualification
Required
Experience in systematic data collection and analysis
Proficiency in root cause analysis techniques
Ability to implement sustainable countermeasures
Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Strong understanding of production reliability and material flow efficiency
Knowledge of overall equipment effectiveness
Ability to create and maintain comprehensive databases
Experience in documenting findings using visual tools (fishbone, Pareto charts, trend graphs)
Ability to develop detailed action plans with responsibilities and timelines
Experience in creating or revising Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Ability to develop performance dashboards and KPI trackers
Experience in conducting post-implementation assessments and evaluations
Knowledge of sustainability practices in process improvement
