Responsibilities
Review and grade work completed by BSA Compliance Operations using established grading scripts
Validate processes related to Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs), Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs), and fraud-related investigations
Conduct quality testing of alert scenarios, systemic alerts, and manual referrals
Ensure adherence to BSA, AML, OFAC, and USA PATRIOT Act requirements
Analyze transactional data to detect and prevent money laundering and terrorist financing activities
Refer unusual or out-of-pattern activity for further investigation and potential regulatory reporting
Document findings and report outcomes to management
Provide written feedback to internal teams and propose process improvements
Maintain accurate records of quality reviews and testing results
Work closely with compliance teams to enhance workflows and efficiency
Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices
Recommend solutions to monitor, detect, or prevent illicit activities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of experience in BSA/AML/OFAC compliance, quality testing, or related roles
Hands-on experience with SAR filing, CTR preparation, and AML investigations
Proficiency in compliance systems such as DNA, Verafin, ProfitStars/Jack Henry, WireExchange/PaymentsExchange, and OnBase
Strong MS Office skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
