As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will take ownership of product-defining features across the Python API and Typescript/Deno/Preact frontend, working closely with product, architecture, and domain experts.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of major features across the backend, frontend, and data pipelines

Collaborate with product managers and domain experts to clarify functionality and requirements

Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code using Python, Typescript, and modern frameworks

Participate in system design discussions and contribute to the evolution of IAltA’s architecture

Support and mentor junior developers; perform thoughtful, constructive code reviews

Integrate with event-driven and message-based systems where required

Contribute to continuous integration, deployment, observability, and overall platform quality

Engage proactively in an AI-assisted development workflow

Required

Python (FastAPI, Pydantic, SQLAlchemy, or similar)

Typescript (Preact/React/JSX or comparable frameworks)

Postgres (SQL familiarity required)

Solid understanding of distributed systems fundamentals

Experience delivering production-grade services end-to-end

Preferred

Kubernetes (EKS or equivalent)

Kafka or other event-streaming platforms

AWS SQS or similar messaging systems

Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Helm, etc.)

Familiarity with DDD, CQRS, or event-driven architecture concepts
