Prepare and post journal entries & related general ledger accounting work
Reconciliation of various accounts and reports
Participate in the month-end closing process
Prepare, create, edit and update spreadsheets
Year-end audit/closing & Bank Audits
General ledger maintenance – Update reports/ create accounts, allocations, year-end roll and clear
Accounts Payable
Qualification
Required
Associates Degree in Accounting
3 years of related experience
Data entry
Problem solving
Analytical Ability
Communication Skills
Interpersonal skills (ability to communicate basic accounting issues to all levels of organization)
Positive attitude and the ability to learn new things
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
Accounting experience in a manufacturing facility
