Technical Support Engineer
Beacon Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Technician III to provide multi-tier technical support for computer systems, applications, and network infrastructure. This role requires strong technical troubleshooting skills and excellent customer service, supporting both remote and onsite users primarily in Wisconsin.

Responsibilities
Provide multi-tier technical support via ticketing system, phone, email, and remote tools
Diagnose and resolve application, system, network, and connectivity issues
Perform remote and onsite support, including independent onsite work
Manage support tickets, documentation, and customer communications
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to support infrastructure and services
Monitor and resolve system performance, reliability, and security issues
Develop and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and knowledge base articles
Support infrastructure upgrades, maintenance, and security improvements
Participate in on-call or off-hours support as needed
Qualification
Required
5–7 years of experience in a customer-facing, multi-tier technical support role
Experience using ticketing systems and following escalation processes
Strong experience with remote support tools (screen sharing, voice, chat)
Experience supporting enterprise applications and networked environments
Knowledge of networking, connectivity standards, and security practices
Experience supporting desktops, printers, servers, and infrastructure equipment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and meet state vehicle rental requirements
Preferred
Experience with Agile or project-based teams
Exposure to virtualization, automation, system monitoring, and directory services
Experience with vendor coordination, inventory management, and warranty support
On-call or non-prime shift support experience
