Tyson Foods is a leading food company, and they are seeking a Production Rendering Generalist for all shifts. This role is responsible for the production operation including unloading and washing trailers, monitoring cookers, and performing maintenance tasks while ensuring a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

Unloading and washing all trailers and reefers

Monitoring cookers and soap and wash all areas of the plant

Driving yard truck to transport trailers and reefers on the yard and load finished product

Checking lubrication on machinery, changing oil and belts on gear boxes

Performing equipment PM and auger inspections

Maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures

Maintaining clean work area by use of soap and high pressure water hose with 30 pounds of pressure or more

Obtaining certification and operating a forklift or skid-steer loader

Using basic hand tools and performing basic mechanical and maintenance skills such as mechanical troubleshooting, electrical troubleshooting, welding/fabrication, wiring, motor controls, and conveyor maintenance

Reading and understanding policies, procedures and regulations

Documenting information

Communicating with others written and verbally

Performing physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

Must have a current Arkansas Driver's License and must pass Tyson Yard/Lot Driver Assessment

Must be able to use basic hand tools and perform basic mechanical and maintenance skills such as mechanical troubleshooting, electrical troubleshooting, welding/fabrication, wiring, motor controls, and conveyor maintenance

Must have the ability to read and understand policies, procedures and regulations

Must have the ability to document information

Must have the ability to communicate with others written and verbally

Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
