Responsibilities
Lead the QE planning and execution for the Payments Optimization initiative
Define and manage functional test plans, automation frameworks, and quality metrics
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, architects, and client stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage
Build and maintain automation test suites for UI, API, and data validation using industry-standard tools
Oversee test data management, environment setup, and test execution cycles
Drive defect management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with insurance payments standards, financial accuracy, and regulatory requirements
Mentor and manage QE team members across onshore/offshore locations
Qualification
Required
Strong US Insurance markets knowledge - Policy Lifecycle, Policy Admin systems, knowledge payments
Deep understanding of insurance payment workflows, policy administration, and financial integrations
Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, and API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured
Proficiency in SQL, data validation, and ETL testing
Experience with Agile methodologies, Jira, ADO, and CI/CD pipelines
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Lead the QE for the Payments Optimization initiative or other insurance billing systems implementation
Strong US Insurance markets knowledge - Policy Lifecycle, Policy Admin systems, knowledge payments modules
Mentor and manage a team of at least 5 QE team members across onshore/offshore locations focused on Functional/Manual/Test Automation
7+ years in QE/QA with 4+ years in leadership roles
Preferred
Certification or hands-on experience with Billing implementations
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure) and DevOps tools
ISTQB or equivalent QA certification
