Responsibilities
Design Layouts
Perform design analysis for truck and trailer equipment
Implement product improvements in an evolving industry
Evaluate and implement design changes
Projects are functional, easily manufactured, and meet customer expectations
Dedication to research and development of products
Designs meet Westmor Industries engineering standards
Design analyses, drawings, and bills of materials are accurate
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
Training and/or experience in AutoCAD, Solidworks/Inventor, and Ansys or similar software packages
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent communication skills
Good conceptual skills
High mechanical aptitude
