The Union Democrat is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join their team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and support while managing inquiries and data collection.

Responsibilities

Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in a professional manner
Collect and maintain accurate data in our databases, ensuring information is up-to-date and organized
Resolve delivery issues, vacation stops/starts, cancellations, payments, online accounts, manage EZ pay, update payment information and process billing
Run end of day reports which includes carrier bundles, mail labels and press reports
Measure daily paper to process daily postal reports
Manage NIE program for local schools
Manage dealers, drops and racks
Prepare carrier contracts by gathering vehicle registration/insurance/CDL information

Required

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building positive relationships
Proficiency in using databases and Google docs
Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills
Prior customer service experience in an office is a must
