New Grad, Entry LevelDal-Tile LLC is the largest manufacturer of tile and natural stone in the United States, and they are seeking a Specialized Technician for their day shift. The role involves ensuring safety protocols, maintaining equipment, and training team members on machine operations while collaborating with various departments to improve processes.

Responsibilities
Ensures all safety protocols throughout the plant and department are adhered to
Drives world class housekeeping inside the inkjet booths and within the machines
Follows the Quality Management System, which is certified to ISO 9001:2015 for all operating procedures and practice instructions, as well as working with the Quality Department to create needed procedures
Responsible for daily/weekly/monthly OEM recommended PMs, as well as facility driven best practices
Work with maintenance department and outside contractors for both room pressurizations, as well as UPS program management
Responsible for working with graphics and operational teams to reduce ink consumption on all products, and ensuring print engine reliability
Inventory responsibility for all machine related parts, inks and cleaners; as well as tote refill and ink testing methods
Responsible for training of all new hires and existing team members on the safe and efficient operation of the machines, and also when new procedural updates occur
Responsible for working with operational and maintenance teams to develop and sustain operator basic care programs
Work directly with R&D for any and all machine related issues or opportunities for improvement
Fill-in and relief responsibility for all glazing job functions, as well as assisting the color change team with developmental testing and approvals
Will perform daily and weekly print tests in order to catalog print head life, as well as ensure we have linearization across all machines. Will also catalog voltage readings and head pressures in order to understand printing capability and create print head replacement trends
Potential for call-in support may be required if in-house team is unable to correct or repair issues in order to maintain efficiencies throughout the process
