Tyson Foods is a leading food company, and they are seeking a Production Rendering Generalist to be responsible for various production operations. The role involves unloading and washing trailers, monitoring equipment, and maintaining a safe work environment while adhering to company policies.

Responsibilities

To Maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture

Receive training as required

Perform various positions as required/assigned

Unload and wash all trailers, tankers and reefers

Monitor cookers and soap and wash all areas of the plant

Load trucks, maintain the control room and complete accurate paperwork

Check lubrication on machinery, change oil and belts on gear boxes

Perform equipment PM and auger inspections

Assist maintenance when needed while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures

Maintain clean work area by use of soap and high pressure water hose with 30 pounds of pressure or more

Obtain the certification and operate a forklift or skid-steer loader

Use basic hand tools and perform basic mechanical and maintenance skills such has mechanical troubleshooting, electrical troubleshooting, welding/fabrication, wiring, motor controls, and conveyor maintenance

Have basic computer skills

Read and understand policies, procedures and regulations

Document information

Communicate with others written and verbally
