Responsibilities
Assist subject matter experts in the preparation and review of proposals
Work with Accounting to input and track projected and actual costs, process purchase orders, identify change orders, and create accurate bills
Create, review, and update project schedules
Track and report project status updates to clients and internal stakeholders
Manage and maintain project costs and work-in-progress estimates
Facilitate communications between internal groups, vendors, subcontractors, and clients
Organize, file, and maintain project documents
Schedule and confirm material and equipment deliveries
Determine staffing and equipment needs and oversee scheduling and asset management
Forecast resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
Qualification
Required
Hands-on experience in fabrication and machining, engineering, electrical, or other industrial environments
Strong organizational and project management skills
Flexibility to travel and work occasional overtime
Valid driver's license required
A high level of organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Effective and professional oral and written communication skills
Critical thinking and problem-solving ability
Ability to work independently and in team environments
Excels in a high-paced work environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project)
Ability to balance multiple projects effectively
Preferred
5+ years of project management preferred
1+ years' experience with project accounting and scheduling preferred
Previous experience with direct customer relations skills preferred
