Responsibilities

Determines schedules, distributes work, routes trucks, and communicates procedures

Interprets machine logs, collects data, sets up new machines for test, trouble shoots machine failures, and interprets error codes

Informs supervisor of staff, safety, defective product or mechanical issues

Ensures all safety standards are met by work group

Required

Expedites operations that delay schedules and/or alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions

Resolves issues related to production, machinery, processing, and/or packaging operations

Ensures quality control standards are maintained

Performs assembly line functions

Calibrates equipment and maintains tools

Determines schedules, distributes work, routes trucks, and communicates procedures

Interprets machine logs, collects data, sets up new machines for test, troubleshoots machine failures, and interprets error codes

Informs supervisor of staff, safety, defective product or mechanical issues

Ensures all safety standards are met by work group

Preferred

Extensive knowledge of all types of machinery

Two-year technical degree in the area of electronics or electrical design

Technical certification or associate degree may be required in some areas
