Responsibilities
Perform entry-level electrical design and drafting work under supervision
Support the creation of electrical documents and schematics
Assist with data collection and basic electrical field surveys
Learn to apply NEC (NFPA-70) and local electrical/fire code requirements
Help develop: Electrical Room Layouts, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), Equipment Load Lists, Cable/Conduit/Tray Schedules
Complete basic calculations (e.g., voltage drop, conduit fill, cable sizing)
Use AutoCAD (preferred) to assist with drawing updates
Collaborate with team members across various departments
Occasionally work overtime as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (required)
0–2 years of related experience (entry-level)
Strong interest in power distribution and control systems
Strong interest in power systems, controls, or industrial applications
Can-do attitude with eagerness to learn and grow
Basic understanding of electrical systems and components
Good communication and organizational skills
Preferred
Familiarity with AutoCAD is a plus
Valid driver's license
