Enterprise Solutions Engineer

The Enterprise Solutions Engineer will serve as a strategic technical leader, supporting complex nonprofit organizations by designing solutions that address their technical needs and guiding them throughout the sales and customer lifecycle.

Responsibilities
Lead in-depth, multi-stakeholder technical discovery across enterprise organizations with complex systems, compliance requirements, and global operations
Translate sophisticated business problems into scalable solutions leveraging our platform, APIs, and partner ecosystem
Architect end-to-end integrations and solution frameworks, accounting for security, performance, data models, and long-term scalability
Serve as the principal technical counterpart to Enterprise AEs, helping shape deal strategy, competitive positioning, and solution differentiation
Deliver executive-level presentations and deeply technical demos tailored to highly specialized nonprofit use cases. Own and guide technical evaluations, proof-of-concepts, and prototype solutions for high-value opportunities
Act as a senior liaison between customer-facing teams and the product organization, providing nuanced insights into enterprise requirements
Advise on roadmap direction, feature prioritization, and cross-functional initiatives that enable enterprise growth
Mentor and coach other Solutions Engineers, elevating technical rigor and solution quality across the team
Preferred expertise in nonprofit technology ecosystems—including Salesforce NPSP/Nonprofit Cloud, data infrastructure, martech, and fundraising tech
Stay on top of emerging technologies, industry shifts, AI advancements, and market trends affecting enterprise nonprofits
Contribute to assets such as solution guides, technical documentation, demo frameworks, and industry content
Qualification
Required
10–15 years of experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, enterprise architecture, implementation consulting, or a related technical pre-sales role
Expert-level knowledge of SaaS platforms, APIs, and systems
Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging both deeply technical architects and C-suite executives with equal clarity
Demonstrated success influencing complex enterprise sales cycles and partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders
Strong proficiency in designing architectural diagrams, integration patterns, and scalable solution frameworks
Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, lead discovery with large/global organizations, and drive outcomes in long sales cycles
A seasoned storyteller who can articulate technical value propositions in compelling, mission-aligned ways
Passion for the nonprofit sector and a desire to help organizations leverage technology to achieve transformational impact
Ability to travel for customer meetings, workshops, and industry events
Preferred
Preferred expertise in nonprofit technology ecosystems—including Salesforce NPSP/Nonprofit Cloud, data infrastructure, martech, and fundraising tech
Experience working within or supporting enterprise-level nonprofits, international NGOs, higher education, or large social impact organizations
Familiarity with data privacy, security frameworks (SOC2, ISO), and enterprise IT governance
Experience guiding POCs, complex RFP responses, or multi-phase architecture engagements
