As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer, you will own the operational backbone of the platform, focusing on AWS architecture, Terraform-based infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines while guiding engineering and leadership on best practices in scalability, security, and resilience.

Responsibilities

Architect, implement, and operate IAltA’s cloud infrastructure in AWS

Design high-availability, multi-region, security-compliant environments

Build and maintain Terraform-based infrastructure-as-code foundations

Define and evolve CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and release processes

Implement logging, monitoring, tracing, SLIs/SLOs, and incident workflows

Establish and manage Kubernetes environments (EKS preferred)

Develop and enforce secrets, identity, certificate, and key-management practices

Lead operational readiness for regulated financial-market participants

Implement guardrails for data protection, resilience, and auditability

Partner with application engineering to ensure secure, scalable service delivery

Mentor junior DevOps / platform engineers as the team scales

Drive AI-assisted DevOps tooling and automation adoption

Required

Deep experience with AWS (networking, IAM, RDS/Aurora, SQS, routing, security groups)

Terraform and infrastructure-as-code best practices

Kubernetes (EKS preferred)

Kafka or similar distributed event systems

Postgres operational management

Excellent grounding in distributed systems, failover, and reliability patterns

Experience running production workloads in security-sensitive environments

Preferred

HAProxy or other ingress/load balancing

Cloudflare or equivalent edge/zero-trust tools

Tenable, Wiz, or similar vulnerability-management platforms

SOC2, ISO-27001, or financial-services security exposure

Experience in fintech, market infrastructure, or trading systems

Experience with WORM storage, audit trails, or compliance logging
