Responsibilities
Build & run DQ rules daily - including reconciliations between data stores/locations & comparing current to prior data
Automate where possible
Work with business to define rules
Work with IT to fix breaks
Track metrics daily
Build/maintain dashboards and performance for mgmt
Build/maintain data catalog (dictionary (technical detail)/glossary (business detail))
Help derive data governance policy/standards/guiding principles details
Assist in lineage efforts where needed
Work very closely with technical and business teams - be the bridge/liaison between the two functions
Work closely with teams involved in project backlog, add governance insight
Get involved with global data efforts where needed
Qualification
Required
2-3+ years of experience in data governance (DG)
Understand DG concepts
Data governance tools (Ataccama ONE/DQ modules), MDM/RDM tools (Ataccama RDM) along with Power BI and SQL
Detail-oriented, multi-task
Strong analytical/problem solving skills
Strong skills in excel suite and other data analysis tools
Strong communication skills
Preferred
SharePoint/JIRA/Confluence site development experience a big plus
Prior insurance experience a huge plus
Microsoft azure suite familiarity or experience a plus
Python, R, other programming languages a plus
