Sr. Program/Project Manager - Insurance & Underwriting
Aroha Technologies, Inc is seeking a highly skilled Technology Implementation Project Manager to lead the enterprise-wide implementation of the Federato underwriting platform. This role involves overseeing the full lifecycle of the implementation, ensuring strong delivery rigor and cross-functional coordination across business, technology, and vendor workstreams.

Responsibilities
Federato Platform Implementation Ownership
Act as the primary project manager for all Federato implementation activities
Lead planning, execution, and delivery of platform capabilities and product rollouts
Maintain detailed project plans, roadmaps, workstreams, and milestone tracking specific to Federato
Ensure strong alignment across underwriting, technology, data, operations, and Federato delivery teams
Product Line Enablement & Underwriting Support
Manage onboarding and rollout activities for underwriting teams adopting Federato
Translate underwriting workflows and business requirements into actionable implementation deliverables
Partner with Underwriting leadership and SMEs to validate platform functionality, workflows, and use cases
Project Governance & Execution Discipline
Establish governance routines including RAID logs, change control, status reporting, and steering updates
Structure cross-functional workstreams with clear ownership and accountability
Anticipate risks, resolve issues proactively, and ensure sustained project momentum
Technical & Integration Coordination
Coordinate with IT teams to manage integrations, data feeds, environments, and technical dependencies
Ensure business requirements are understood and accurately implemented through configuration or development
Oversee UAT cycles, defect management, end to end validation, and go-live readiness
Continuous Improvement & Scaling
Support expansion of Federato implementation across additional lines of business
Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance delivery efficiency, and strengthen platform adoption
Ensure the platform’s evolution aligns with underwriting strategy and operational priorities
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in project management, ideally within insurance, underwriting operations, or technology delivery
Demonstrated success managing enterprise technology or SaaS platform implementations
Strong understanding of underwriting workflows and commercial insurance products
Proven ability to implement structured project governance, documentation, and execution rigor
Excellent communication, facilitation, and vendor management capabilities
Preferred
Experience implementing underwriting workbench or decision-support systems (Federato strongly preferred)
Certifications such as PMP, Agile/Scrum, or equivalent
Background in P&C insurance technology transformation or underwriting digitization programs
