They are seeking a Senior Real Estate Accountant to support the team in managing the financial operations for assigned properties, including preparing accurate financial statements and managing full-cycle accounting.

Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle accounting, including processing accounts payable, posting journal entries, handling monthly accruals/amortizations, and reconciling balance sheet accounts

Oversee multiple properties within the company’s portfolio

Address Property Managers' inquiries related to monthly charges, invoice coding, and month-end reports

Assist in the preparation of the annual budget

Review monthly charges, Gross Potential Rent reports, and other AR balances

Calculate and process monthly property management fees

Prepare month-end reporting packages and analyze budget-to-actual variances

Assist in preparing annual work papers and reconciliations for year-end tax returns and external audits

Provide support to the Property Accounting Manager and Vice President with cash flow analysis
