Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program
Proficient with electronic communication including e-mail and text, as well as standard office applications (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite)
Possess exceptional oral and written communication skills
Demonstrate skills in persuasion and negotiation of critical issues

Preferred

Master's Degree or equivalent
15+ years prior experience
Engaged in life-long learning to stay current with contemporary issues
Established relationships with railroad clients
Business development skills
In-depth knowledge of industry standards and guidelines
Professional Engineer (PE), equivalent, or authorization of CLPO
Member of a professional practice organization, national board member or officer, recognized expert on statewide activity, and a resource for national activities and organization
