Senior Structural Engineer
Bristol Bay Construction Holdings LLC is expanding its workforce and is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer. The ideal candidate will lead and contribute to the design, analysis, detailing, and quality assurance of diverse building projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality standards and client expectations are met.

Responsibilities
Lead the structural design, analysis, and modeling of building systems using industry-standard software and tools
Develop and review structural systems including foundations, steel, concrete, masonry, and wood framing
Serve as Engineer of Record, preparing, reviewing, and sealing construction documents as required
Provide senior-level technical oversight and quality assurance for structural calculations, drawings, and specifications
Perform and oversee field inspections, job site visits, and inspection reports on a periodic basis as needed
Maintain and foster relationships with existing clients, ensuring all project requirements, schedules, and deliverables are met
Collaborate with architects, engineers, designers, and internal departments to ensure structural feasibility, constructability, and compliance with building codes and regulatory requirements
Mentor, train, and foster the professional growth of junior engineers and design staff
Support proposal development, scope definition, and technical reviews as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Active Professional Engineer (PE) License (any state)
Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in structural engineering design for building projects
Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., RAM, RISA, ETABS, SAP2000, or similar)
Advanced knowledge of structural design principles, materials, and construction methods
Thorough understanding of applicable building codes and standards (IBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to lead projects and provide technical direction
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and sound engineering judgment
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including client-facing interaction
