Responsibilities
Lead Technical Discipline Team: Manage and guide a technical discipline team within the organization
Technical Specialist: Serve as the technical specialist in applying advanced concepts, principles, and methods in an assigned area
Keep informed of new developments and requirements affecting the organization for the purpose of recommending changes in programs or applications
Interpret, organize, execute, and coordinate assignments
Other duties as assigned or required to meet the business needs
Qualification
Required
Proficiency with electronic communication including e-mail and text, as well as standard office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
Possess advanced oral and written communication skills
Represent the organization and maintain liaison with individuals and related organizations
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program
10+ years of prior experience required
Professional Engineer (PE)
Member of a professional practice organization, national board member or officer, or national technical or policy committee member
Supervise a staff of engineers and designers
Plan, schedule, and coordinate the preparation of documents or activities for multiple major projects, or oversee an entire program of the organization
Review operational procedures to ensure compliance with applicable policies and performance measures
Preferred
Master's degree or equivalent
Engaged in life-long learning to maintain knowledge of contemporary issues
