Responsibilities
Direct all aspects of dive operations to ensure safe, efficient, and profitable project execution
Partner with the CEO to identify new maritime markets and cultivate client relationships
Lead, mentor, and oversee the performance of all Divers and Dive Supervisors
Work with Estimating and Project Management teams to develop accurate dive plans and facilitate seamless transitions from bid to execution
Enforce strict adherence to OSHA, ADCI, and other applicable regulations
Oversee the maintenance and readiness of all diving equipment and track diver certifications
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED required
8+ years of commercial diving experience and substantial experience in the heavy civil or construction industry, including significant experience in operations management or senior field supervision
Commercial Dive School Diploma required
Knowledge of project estimating, scheduling, and contract management
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
A proactive work ethic with the ability to travel up to 50%, often with little or no notice, to resolve urgent operational issues
In-depth understanding of, or a willingness to learn, occupational safety standards for general industry, maritime, and construction
Current ADCI (or equivalent) commercial diving/supervisor certification, First Aid/CPR/AED, and a valid driver's license
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, or Marine Engineering preferred (or equivalent experience)
Potable diving experience is a huge plus!
