Responsibilities

Represent our products and services with professionalism and care, beginning with a thorough understanding of each
Develop and maintain a sales pipeline of opportunities with the objective of meeting and exceeding sales goals
Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business in all service categories offered
Create a sales strategy for new and established targets that makes you a valuable resource for all of your customers’ needs
Work with clients to understand their objectives and make recommendations that showcase our offerings in a compelling way
Collaborate with internal digital ad operations team to set digital strategy and to ensure that all commitments are met
Understand and communicate our advertising guidelines to clients
Cultivate working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunities
Maintain records of customer reactions within our customer relationship management (CRM) system, including leads, opportunities, quotes, research, emails, and more
Complete requests for information/proposals, client reports, and publisher reports as needed
Keeps management informed of sales activity, prospects, and results
Monitors both the competition and the overall market and stays currents on new trends, pricing, products, and services
Contributes to a team-focused approach to sales, working collaboratively with colleague to ensure performance

Required

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience
2+ years working in Sales or other equivalent experience
Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace
Experience working in a CRM system, Salesforce.com a plus
Able to quickly learn new skills as needed
Excellent communication (both written & oral) and presentation skills
Ability to manage own territory/account and monitor resources accordingly
Previous experience in healthcare advertising media sales or dental industry sales

Preferred

Strong relationships in the dental publishing industry a plus
Deep understanding of online advertising
Experience in selling bundled packages, including banner ads, podcasts, roundtables, eNewsletters, microsites, direct emails campaigns, video, other online products and other special projects
