Sales Manager

Fourth Floor is a hard goods manufacturing brand seeking a Sales Manager to join their team in New York. The Sales Manager will drive revenue growth by managing and expanding relationships with mass market and off-price retail partners, overseeing all aspects of the sales process and collaborating with various teams to align company objectives.

Responsibilities

Manage and grow existing mass market and off-price retail accounts, ensuring consistent revenue growth and profitability
Identify and develop new business opportunities within domestic and/or international wholesale channels
Lead all aspects of the sales process, including line presentations, pricing strategy, negotiations, and order execution
Collaborate with merchandising, product development, operations, and logistics teams to align assortments, forecasts, and delivery timelines
Develop and execute seasonal and annual sales plans aligned with company objectives
Analyze sales performance, market trends, and customer needs to inform strategy and product positioning
Prepare and deliver sales forecasts, budgets, and regular reporting to senior leadership
Represent the company at trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events as needed
Ensure compliance with customer requirements, margin targets, and operational standards

Qualification

Required

5+ years of wholesale sales experience, preferably within hard goods
Demonstrated success selling into mass market and/or off-price retailers
Strong negotiation skills with a clear understanding of pricing, margins, and inventory dynamics
Ability to manage high-volume accounts and fast-paced sales cycles
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Knowledge of supply chain, lead times, and production planning for hard goods
Results-driven and highly organized
Adaptable in a fast-moving, price-sensitive environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred

Experience with CRM and sales forecasting tools
Existing relationships with mass market or off-price retailers
