Controls Field Engineer
Twin Disc is a global leader in power transmission technology, committed to evolving its brand and delivering top-tier products. The Controls Field Engineer will configure and develop application-specific control systems at customer sites while supporting the design, analysis, and maintenance of control systems for existing products.

Responsibilities
Configure control systems across electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic applications
Assist in writing documentation including design specifications and test plans
Evaluate hardware/software deviation requests and recommend improvements
Draft product modifications and write BOMs
Conduct root cause analysis and introduce new technologies
Provide product support for Production and Product Service
Test software/hardware and write associated reports
Maintain professional development through training and publications
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Software, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent with 10+ years of related experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Basic experience with editors, compilers, revision control software, and PLM/PDM systems
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Basic knowledge of embedded systems and programming languages (C, VB.NET, C#)
Understanding of mechanical and hydraulic systems
Familiarity with data acquisition equipment and CAN communications (SAE J1939)
Valid passport required
Preferred
Ability to coordinate cross-functional design and development efforts
Skilled in troubleshooting across software and hardware domains
Strong organizational and time management skills
