Responsibilities
Assist with day-to-day accounting, record journal entries, and perform bank and credit card reconciliations
Support external auditor requests, perform weekly internal audits of AP/AR aging reports, and conduct quarterly audits of sales tax exemption certificates
Manage Balance Sheet account reconciliations and maintain vital supporting schedules for annual audits
Perform monthly reviews of expense accounts, internal jobs, and outstanding purchase orders while recommending procedural changes to improve efficiency
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance
3+ years of professional accounting experience
Comfortable with MS Excel (creating formulas) and accounting software
Background in construction
Self-motivated professional who enjoys a transparent, team-oriented environment
Strong attention to detail and math aptitude
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance
Experience with Vista or AccountEdge
