Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations related to payroll, benefits, and intercompany transactions
Manage intercompany accounting and allocation processes across multiple entities
Lead the month-end and year-end close process for relevant accounts
Ensure timely and accurate recording of payroll-related journal entries and benefit accruals
Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, finance, and operations to resolve accounting issues
Maintain and enhance internal controls related to payroll and intercompany activities
Supervise and mentor a small team of accounting professionals
Support external audits and provide necessary documentation as required
Assist in implementing new processes and system improvements to streamline operations
Prepare reports and perform ad hoc financial analysis as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting required
Minimum of 4 years of corporate accounting experience required
Strong understanding of intercompany accounting and allocations is required
Proficient in Excel and experience working with ERP systems
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred
CPA certification is a plus
At least 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
Familiarity with payroll and benefits accounting preferred
