Responsibilities
Provide remote technical support to our customers and field technicians
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for physical security systems via phone, email, and remote desktop tools
Assist with the configuration & programming of IP cameras, access control panels, & alarm systems
Help develop and update documentation and training materials for customers and internal staff
Shadow senior technicians on service calls to understand the hands-on aspects of the trade
Maintain clear & professional records of all customer support interactions
Conduct training on physical security systems for customers & employees
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field
A strong passion for technology and a natural curiosity for how things work
Excellent communication and customer service skills
A logical approach to problem-solving and the ability to learn new software quickly
Able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Must be professional, reliable, and able to represent Cayer Security Services with integrity
Candidates must consent to a comprehensive background check
This position is based primarily in our office but may offer opportunities to shadow technicians in the field. Fieldwork can require working on ladders or lifts

Preferred
Familiarity with computer networking concepts (VLANs, firewall rules, IP addressing)
Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+
Prior experience with any video surveillance or access control software
1-2 Years of Experience in Technical Support (preferably in the physical security industry)
Technical Support: 1 year (Preferred)
CompTIA A+ (Preferred)
CompTIA Network+ (Preferred)
