The Director of Brand Communications will lead the storytelling that connects employees to the company's mission, managing the employer brand and internal communications to enhance employee engagement and alignment.

Responsibilities

Own and evolve the employer brand—defining our employee value proposition and bringing it to life across hiring, onboarding, and culture initiatives
Partner with HR to create consistent, authentic messaging across recruiting, employee engagement, and recognition programs
Lead internal communications, including employee newsletters, executive messages, town halls, intranet updates, and company-wide announcements
Manage and elevate the employee experience through storytelling, culture campaigns, and clear organizational updates
Create and oversee content for internal and external employer brand channels, including LinkedIn, website, and Glassdoor
Support copywriting and proofing across all brands under the One Health umbrella—helping ensure clarity, consistency, and tone alignment
Partner cross-functionally with HR, Operations, Marketing, and Strategy to drive communication that supports business goals
Develop and manage an annual internal comms plan with key messages, cadence, and metrics for engagement
Track and share insights on employee sentiment and engagement to continuously improve communication effectiveness

Required

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
7–10 years of experience in internal communications, brand communications, or employer branding
Proven experience creating communication strategies and content that drive engagement and alignment
Strong writing and editing skills—able to move fluidly between executive messaging, newsletters, and campaign copy
Ability to collaborate across HR, Marketing, and senior leadership
Comfort working in a fast-moving, growth-stage environment
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through

Preferred

Experience in healthcare, multi-site, or MSO organizations
Familiarity with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or AI-powered productivity tools (ChatGPT, Firefly, Canva Magic, etc.)
Experience measuring employee engagement or communication effectiveness
