Doctor Recruiter

Responsibilities

Develop an annual Dentist Recruitment and Development Plan
Recruit, retain and hire dentists as defined and specified
Maintains a candidate pipeline/database reflecting documentation of positions open, interviews scheduled, conversation had, offers made or not made, offers accepted or not accepted, reasons for offers declined, etc
Identifies and sources targeted dentists using a variety of creative and effective recruitment methods, including managing all job-related advertising
Researches and participates in conferences, job fairs and varied dental recruitment opportunity events
Develops relationships with dental schools and residency programs
Coordinates and arranges residency information events, such as lunch and learns, virtual presentations, dinners/cocktail hours, etc
Assists with the development of promotional materials, such as banners and posters to be used in recruitment events
Presents opportunities with detail and clarity, providing information about PepperPointe and its supported practices, compensation plan, benefits, and specific elements of the position
Lead the doctor recruitment process, which should include the following key elements
Prepares job descriptions and develops job postings. Reviews CVs/applications and phone screens all candidates to determine quality and fit for the organization
Creates a comprehensive practice description for each opportunity, and willingness to understand the unique cultures and needs of each practice opportunity
Arranges interview times and coordinates with partner doctors, PepperPointe team members, and candidates
Directs, organizes and coordinates all aspects of candidate itineraries, agendas and site visits including travel and hotel reservations, practices, and community tours, appointments with partner doctors, and lunch/dinner reservations. May escort candidates through their interviews and visits
Drafts/revises provider employment contracts during recruitment process
Perform as conduit between hiring practices and candidates
Negotiating salary, problem-solving, and counseling, therein establishing a rapport with the job candidate
Create and deliver offer letters to candidates and address necessary contract negotiations
Follow up with all candidates and referring parties in a timely manner
Monitors budget and perform to keep it within entire monetary guidelines
Communicates and collaborates with colleagues and team members around all doctor recruitment and new hire updates
Stays current on regional and national dentist hiring trends and practices; researches competitor's activities to keep informed of changes
Provides input to improve recruitment-related processes
Participates in special projects as needed

Advanced proficiency in various computer applications, e.g. word processing, excel spreadsheet, e-mail, database management and presentation software

Must be able to prioritize multiple responsibilities and manage a large workload within tight deadlines
Excellent problem-solving skills and self-motivation
Ability to develop alternative solutions to problems; comparing and analyzing data; preparing clear, concise, thorough, meaningful, and grammatically correct written reports, letters, memoranda, and other documents
Ability to independently plan, organize, prioritize, schedule, coordinate, and make decisions relating to assigned tasks
Very strong customer service orientation, positive attitude, highly self-motivated, directed and change oriented

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, Public/Community Relations, Health Related Fields or equivalent experience
Some local and national travel is required for presentations, events and select industry events

Preferred

2-4 years recruiting experience is preferred; physician, healthcare, or agency recruiting experience preferred
