The role involves executing light repairs to aircraft components under the guidance of Quality Assurance Inspectors, ensuring the quality and readiness of parts for aircraft completion.

Responsibilities
Working with the production team to ensure a steady flow of materials are available for the Aircraft Assembly Division (AAD) of Van’s Aircraft
Repairs typically include replacing of nonconforming rivets, replacing damaged aircraft outer skins and occasional replacement of internal structural components
Work is directed by Quality Assurance Inspectors and signed off by the inspectors upon completion
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Ability to operate hand and power tools such as air operating drills, rivet guns, polishing tools, etc. safely
Ability to work as part of a team; communicate effectively and execute tasks under direction
High attention to detail
Preferred
Experience in autobody repair or metal working preferred
Experience in aerospace/aviation repairs preferred
A passion for aviation is beneficial
