Responsibilities

Owns the roadmap for medication management solution
Lead and manage the roadmap for medication management solution, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and addresses both short-term needs and long-term goals
Collaborate with senior stakeholders across Clinical, Operations, and Customer teams to identify and prioritize the highest impact features
Regularly assess the roadmap based on evolving business priorities, industry trends, and stakeholder feedback
Prioritize features based on our strategic direction and feedback from key stakeholders
Develop clear, actional product requirements and ensure alignment across cross-functional teams
Roll up your sleeves and get into the details when it comes to defining and executing on key high-impact features for the product
Partner with cross functional leaders across Clinical, Operations, and Customer
Partner with the software development and program management teams
Facilitate regular collaboration between departments to ensure smooth communication, alignment, and timely execution
Drive discussions around feature prioritization, technical feasibility, and cross-departmental dependencies
Mentor and coach team members, fostering an environment of learning and growth as the product development function matures
Provide guidance and support to the team, ensuring that everyone is set up for success in their role while also contributing to the overall growth of the team and company
Develop team members’ leadership abilities, helping them enhance their skills in product management and providing career development opportunities
Foster a positive, collaborative work environment, encouraging team members to share ideas, solve problems together, and support one another to reach common goals
Role may include management responsibility for product managers and business analysts
Work with vendors and outsourced resources to deliver features
Manage relationships with external vendors and outsourced resources, ensuring that they meet performance expectations and deadlines
Collaborate with vendors to define product requirements, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of features
Monitor vendor performance and address any issues proactively to ensure high-quality output and adherence to timelines
Ensure clear communication and alignment with external partners to ensure their deliverables meet the same quality and performance standards as internal teams

Required

College degree in relevant field (e.g., Business, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related disciplines) is required
7-10 years of product development experience, preferably in large enterprise environments
Proven track record of end-to-end product ownership in complex, high-impact healthcare or technology solutions, particularly in areas like medication management, healthcare platforms, or clinical solutions
Experience leading and mentoring product managers and other team members, with a focus on developing high-performing, cross-functional teams
Strong background in vendor management, working with external teams, contractors, and third-party providers to meet product development goals
Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Clinical, Operations, IT, and Customer-facing teams to ensure alignment and timely product delivery
Product Leadership: Ability to own and drive the strategic direction of complex products, ensuring they meet both business and user needs
Strategic Thinking & Execution: Ability to balance short-term needs with long-term goals, prioritize features, and make data-driven decisions
Leadership & Mentorship: Strong people leadership skills; ability to motivate, coach, and develop a high-performing team
Collaboration & Communication: Exceptional skills in collaborating with cross-functional teams and communicating effectively with senior stakeholders, developers, and vendors
Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to assess market trends, user feedback, and business needs to make strategic decisions
Vendor Management: Expertise in managing third-party vendors and outsourced resources, ensuring product quality and timely delivery
Adaptability: Ability to navigate changing business needs, evolving product requirements, and industry trends

Preferred

MBA, MPH, MHA or other management/healthcare degrees a bonus but not required
Healthcare experience (e.g., experience with CMS Star Ratings, HEDIS, or other clinical quality frameworks) is a plus
