Responsibilities
Build and maintain C#/.NET Core microservices running in production
Develop and support REST APIs used by internal and external consumers
Work with message-based systems using RabbitMQ or Kafka
Contribute to React + TypeScript UI features (forms, workflows, dashboards)
Debug and resolve issues in distributed, message-driven systems
Write automated tests and participate in code reviews
Collaborate with product, design, and senior engineers in an agile environment
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience developing backend services using .NET (Core 5+) and C#, including profiling and optimizing code
2+ years of experience building and/or maintaining UIs in React.js, TypeScript, and browser JavaScript
Hands-on production experience building or maintaining microservices
Production experience with RabbitMQ or Kafka (publishing, consuming, or supporting asynchronous workflows)
Experience building RESTful APIs and working with JSON
Working knowledge of MongoDB (queries and basic indexing)
Experience writing automated tests (xUnit/NUnit for C#, Jest/Mocha for JavaScript)
Experience using Git in a team environment (branches, pull requests)
Willing and able to travel once per quarter to the corporate office in central FL for team collaboration and training required
Preferred
Experience with MS Azure
Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science) or equivalent experience preferred
Experience using Node.js (using yarn or NPM) a plus
Exposure to GraphQL and YAMP a plus
