Responsibilities
Lead management of the service delivery team, responsible for pre-deployment, deployment and, end-of-life delivery of capacity (IT infrastructure) across Google data centers
Lead and present business reviews and program-level meetings and manage escalations (coordinating cross-functional stakeholders) with senior management and leadership teams
Coach and develop the team (including individual career development) and set team-level direction, OKRs, expectations, and responsibilities, providing guidance and feedback on individual team member's execution and performance
Deliver effective execution at scale involving multi-project programs, day-to-day site operations engagement, and escalation management
Act as a global lead for key programs where required that deliver significant business impact, expected to work collaboratively with globally-distributed contributors (across multiple time zones)
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
5 years of experience in program or project management
4 years of management experience with direct reports
Experience with data center infrastructure or IT infrastructure
Preferred
5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects
Experience with network, electrical, industrial, mechanical, or other engineering
Experience with supply chain and logistics
Large-scale project management and process improvement experience in the telecom or data center infrastructure space
Strong foundational knowledge in data center architectures and physical network components, and awareness of emerging technologies in the ML/IT infrastructure space
