Taft Law is a full-service law firm committed to helping clients succeed. They are seeking a paralegal to support their Commercial Real Estate practice group in Washington, D.C., responsible for managing due diligence, drafting documents, and coordinating transaction closings.

Responsibilities
Coordination and review of title and survey and managing proforma and policy terms
Due diligence management
Abstracting contracts
Preparing checklist of critical dates and contract terms
Drafting contract amendments and ancillary documents
Drafting acquisition/sale documents and closing statement
Preparation of title rejection letters
Coordinating all aspects of the transaction closing
Closing binder preparation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
Strong work ethic
Sound judgment, decision-making and reasoning abilities
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
Paralegal certificate preferred
Minimum of 3 years of commercial real estate experience, preferably in a law firm environment
