Data Analytics and Reporting Developer
Partnership HealthPlan of California is seeking a Data Analytics and Reporting Developer responsible for designing and developing data reports and dashboards to support business decisions. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring data accuracy, and optimizing reporting processes for improved efficiency and decision-making.

Responsibilities
Designs, develops, and maintains custom reports and dashboards to meet the data needs of various business units
Builds interactive and visually appealing dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or other BI platforms
Extracts, transforms, and loads (ETL) data from multiple sources into the reporting tools and systems
Ensures data integrity and accuracy through rigorous validation and quality checks
Applies analytical techniques and tools to uncover trends, patterns, and insights in large datasets
Performs ad-hoc analysis and deep dives into specific areas of interest based on stakeholder needs
Works closely with business users, managers, and leadership to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective data solutions
Automates recurring reports and data flows to increase efficiency and reduce manual intervention
Evaluates and implements new reporting tools, technologies, and methods to improve data analysis capabilities
Stays current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics and reporting
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent work experience
Five years of experience in Information Systems
Two to five years of experience in health care
Proven experience in developing and managing reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on optimizing data reporting processes
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Proficiency in data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau is essential
Strong skills in SQL for data querying
Expertise in data modeling and ETL processes
Preferred
Power BI certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate)
Additional certifications in analytics or business intelligence tools are a plus
