Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end product development initiatives, including concept, formulation, prototyping, testing, and launch
Drive innovation by identifying opportunities in ingredients, technologies, and product formats
Define and oversee product testing protocols, quality control processes, and regulatory compliance
Optimize existing SKUs for performance, cost, and scalability, including SKU rationalization as needed
Maintain timelines and project plans for product initiatives, working cross-functionally with marketing, sourcing, production, and design teams
Lead seasonal project strategy roadmaps, including all product go-to-market and growth initiatives
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to determine pricing, positioning, and feature differentiation
Collaborate with leadership to translate brand vision into actionable product objectives
Monitor product performance and iterate quickly to maximize impact and consumer satisfaction
Develop relationships with local and international vendors and manufacturers to support product initiatives
Manage vendor performance, quality, and timelines to ensure product excellence
Optimize costs and minimum order quantities (MOQs) while balancing quality, service, and scalability
Qualification
Required
Proven experience leading product strategy and execution within consumer health, beauty, or wellness categories
Demonstrated success in shipping products that balance scientific credibility, user experience, and commercial performance
Strong strategic thinking skills paired with a bias toward hands-on execution and delivery
Ability to inspire, align, and communicate across teams from R&D to Marketing to Operations
Comfort operating at both strategic and tactical levels, with a readiness to roll up your sleeves
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to balance short-term deliverables (launches, cost optimization) with long-term innovation and brand evolution
3-5 years of experience in strategic product development, product management, or project management in eCommerce, health, beauty, or wellness
Strong expertise in formulation, prototyping, testing, and regulatory compliance
Track record of launching innovative, high-quality products and managing end-to-end lifecycle
Familiarity with eCommerce platforms (Shopify, Amazon) and DTC operations
Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive product decisions
Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills
Startup mentality: proactive, creative, and results-driven
Preferred
Experience with FDA clearance or QSR compliance for medical devices is a plus
