Responsibilities
Configure and deploy containerized vendor applications using Docker and Openshift, ensuring scalability and maintainability
Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes
Utilize cloud platforms to enhance deployment and operational efficiency, ensuring smooth integration with containerized applications
Conduct proof of concept (POC) initiatives to evaluate vendor tools and technologies, addressing pain points and gaps in current systems
Regularly communicate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to gather requirements, present findings, and implement solutions
Ensure adherence to container security best practices and maintain configurations for DMZ, firewall rules, and network segmentation
Document results of POC initiatives, evaluate outcomes against success criteria, and provide recommendations for future improvements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
3+ years of experience in DevOps, containerization, and CI/CD pipeline integration
Hands-on experience with Docker, Openshift, and container orchestration tools
Strong understanding of cloud platforms, container security best practices, and CI/CD methodologies
