Akkodis Group Nordics is seeking a Business Analyst for a contract role in Culver City, CA. The successful candidate will collaborate with media production teams to document workflows and translate requirements into actionable specifications for engineering implementation.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with media production teams (video editors, audio engineers, VFX artists, live events) to document workflows and network requirements for optimization

Translate business and technical requirements into actionable specifications for engineering teams to implement solutions

Act as a liaison between Media and Engineering teams, advocating for media-specific technical needs and ensuring alignment across stakeholders

Conduct interviews and workshops with networking, storage, and media asset management engineers to elicit detailed system requirements

Analyze and optimize media workflows, identifying pain points and recommending process improvements for efficiency and reliability

Facilitate communication and resolve conflicts between teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring timely delivery of technical solutions

Required

Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Media Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

5–8 years as a Business/Technical Analyst, with experience in media, broadcast, or post-production environments

Proven expertise in requirements elicitation (interviews/workshops) and translating workflows into clear technical specifications for engineering teams

Strong ability to collaborate and influence across cross-functional teams (Networking, Storage, MAM, File Transfer), with a track record of optimizing media workflows and resolving stakeholder conflicts
