Headwall is seeking an Applications Engineer to work in their Industrial Sensing / Machine Vision product line. The role involves developing technical solutions for customers, commissioning sensor systems, and providing after-sales support while collaborating with sales and R&D teams.

Responsibilities

Work closely with our sales and R&D teams to develop technical solutions enabling customers to successfully deploy our products

Commission our optical and inductive sensor systems-on-site or remotely

Develop sorting models and support customers during commissioning, feasibility studies, and training

Perform initial installations and provide after-sales support

Prepare measurement reports and customer documentation

Accompany our sales team to customer meetings, present our solutions clearly and convincingly, and answer technical questions

Required

Technical degree (e.g. chemistry, engineering) with understanding of spectroscopy

Analytical thinking, initiative, and a structured work approach
