As a Flex Armed Patrol Security Officer in Seattle, WA, you will monitor and patrol financial institution locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and provide outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner

Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related risks

Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas within the financial institution to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior

Report and document any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols

Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and/or customers while maintaining a strong security-related presence

Follow all applicable legal requirements and company policies regarding the carrying and use of firearms while on duty

Participate in site-specific training and maintain required certifications for armed patrol duties

Required

Have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security-related experience

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law

Participate in industry-specific security training programs

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
